The MIT Quest Scholars Network (QSN) is affiliated with QuestBridge (QB), a national non-profit organization that connects high-achieving, low-income high school students with admission and full scholarships to the nation’s best colleges. High school seniors can “match” to MIT with a full 4-year scholarship by applying to QuestBridge’s National College Match Scholarship (NCM). NCM finalists who attend MIT as matches or early/regular admits are QuestBridge scholars and automatically become members of our MIT QSN Chapter!
MIT’s QSN Chapter strives to create a supportive, engaging, and welcoming community for our 230+ QuestBridge Scholars who we often call Questies! Throughout the year, we arrange social events, foster friendships, and provide on-campus resources and mentorship. During the Summer of 2020, we partnered with Class Awareness, Support, and Equality (CASE) and the First Generation Program (FGP) to form the First-Generation Low-Income (FLI) Coalition at MIT. Through this collaboration, our chapter engages in several initiatives to further strengthen visibility, support, and opportunities for all FLI students at MIT.
